August 2001 Build (modification to the previous build)

After we saw that the van did awesome numbers at the Love's Park, IL 3x Db Drag racing event, we decided we needed to open up the port some. The van played 46 hz, which by most standards in the world of SPL is crazy low. Thus we wanted to obtain more port before World Finals. We also added in 88 Exide 8volt batteries, and 36 Rockford Fosgate BD1500 amplifiers. We also added two Ohio Generator 390 amp alternators into the mix. We blew up 24 woofers that year at finals (avg. 6 per round). We have one hell of a team to change them between rounds though. Ahhhh, the good ole days!
